Monthly Women’s Group On-going: First Thursday of every month, 7:30 to 10:00 pm. No committment necessary–come when you can. Cost is $90.00. You need to dress ready to move, sweat, and feel. Our Fall dates for the SAY YES TO LIFE Workshops are confirmed: All Sundays, October 25th, November 22, and December 13th, beginning at 1:30 until 4:30. Group size is anywhere between 4 to 8 people. These are process groups where you have the opportunity to see what Core Energetics, body psychotherapy is all about. They are $90.00 for the afternoon, and both leaders (Ted Riskin, MSW and Beth Haessig, Psy.D.) will provide you with what you need to submit your claim to your insurance company. We alternate locations between Fairfield (Ted’s office) and Denville (Beth’s office). Group work is often a powerful way to work your journey, and a great way to witness holistic psychotherapy, live! I will be presenting two talks for the Morris Hills School of Adult and Continuing Education (www.mhcontinuingedu.com). One on October 14 entitled “I Love You…Now What” about the developmental stages in committed relationships. The other on November 4 is called “Mind/Body Psychology.” Please call me or the school if you’re interested.
I’m also speaking for the Holistic Mom’s Network November 19th. The topic is related to parenting and mindfulness.
Ted Riskin and I are setting up dates to continue our “SAY YES TO LIFE” Workshops in the Fall. These are 3-hour experiential process groups where you may come and get a real taste of what Body-Centered Psychotherapy is all about.
And finally, the next meeting for the United States Association of Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Northern NJ Chapter, is the second Friday of October, 7:30 in my office.
